He is a laid back, super chill dog. He definitely has the Akita desire to roam so he needs to stay inside or be in a securely fenced yard. He is content to go for walks along with just laying at your feet to take a snooze. He does enjoy being around people very much. At the kennel he is around a ton of other dogs and even cats -he is completely non- reactive - even if another dog is barking at him. He did live with a 7lb chihuahua who he was submissive too. He is wonderful with kids (the owners said they had nieces and nephews who he adored plus he did love his human brother very much). He is fully vetted - vaccines, microchip, neutered, 4DX, and senior bloodwork and he got a complete clean bill of health. He rides great in the car and is fine on a leash. Joji does need humans who understand typical Akita characteristics and behavior and understand that they are getting responsibility along with a big, handsone, attention magnet of a dog.
